Team bridging

The team bridging is a specific form of team coaching, aimed at improving the operational effectiveness of two or more teams that have to work together or merge.
The term comes from “bridge”. The work is about linking, connecting, interconnecting, and easing the flows between entities.
Bridging is particularly effective in mergers between entities, after a reorganisation, or simply to smooth interactions between teams in the same organisation (marketing and sales, a client-side and a delivery-side team, the London site and the Madrid one, and so on).
Bridging can also be used to resolve operational and cultural conflicts.
In every case, the aim is to develop the collective intelligence of the teams that interact, and to bring them, where possible, to the stage of performance known as “resonance”, reaching tenfold operational effectiveness.
Unlike team coaching, bridging concentrates on the links, flows and processes between teams. It can be complemented by specific team coaching and by one-to-one coaching.
