One-to-one supervision

Having a space of supervision of your own

Like most supporting professions, professional coaching requires supervision. Coach supervision is a space that is both caring and confronting, working towards the coach’s continuous professionalisation.

It is a process of growth, ethics and professionalisation, in the service of the people the coach works with.

It is for professional coaches working independently, and for coaches inside an organisation, whether full time or alongside consulting, recruitment or training work

Everyone can work there on their “being-a-coach” and their questions of identity, as well as on practical matters such as proposals and fees — and enrich their practice.

TheEMCC defines the purpose of supervision as follows:

  1. Ensuring the supervisee meets the standards of the profession
  2. Supporting the development of the supervisee’s professional practice
  3. Providing support for the supervisee’s wellbeing

Supervision is not limited to reflecting on specific client cases. It can be, among other things, a space in which supervisees:

  • discuss ethical dilemmas
  • reflect on their own strengths and development areas within their professional competencies
  • are supported in maintaining their wellbeing and psychological health
  • address broader themes connected with the development of their skills, their capabilities and their professional identity
  • keep a sense of perspective by standing back from their practice
  • explore the direction in which they want to develop their role and their practice
  • develop their skills as reflective practitioners

The supervisor pairs

Why a pair?

Because the complexity of what coaches face calls for crossed, contrasting, complementary gazes. Because otherness enriches the process. Because a duo embodies nuance, dialogue and co-construction — all essential resources for the supervisee’s capacity to discern.

Didactic & experiential group supervision

For twelve years we have formed a pair of supervisors resting on the balance between a systemic and a Rogerian approach, and a stance anchored in the body, in energy and in deep listening. We combine established approaches — Gestalt, neuroscience, systemics, transactional analysis, NLP, the existential approach, relational coaching, the paradoxical approach — to bring an integrative, holistic and non-normative gaze to the situations we work on.

Integrative group supervision

Our duo rests on an alliance that is both demanding and warm. We share a systemic and integrative reading of situations, nourished by our respective grounding in Gestalt and Rogerian listening, and by a fine understanding of corporate environments. Our supervision emphasises what is at stake in the bond and in transference dynamics, work on the immediate relationship, and an integrative, embodied approach.

Let’s find the right format.

A need for coaching, supervision or simply clarity? Let’s talk plainly about the context, the stakes and the best way forward.
